# Schubert Commercial License

Schubert is dual-licensed under:

1. **GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0)** — see [LICENSE](./LICENSE)
2. **Commercial License** — for proprietary, closed-source, or non-AGPL use

## When You Need a Commercial License

You need a commercial license if:

- You want to use Schubert in proprietary (closed-source) software
- The AGPL v3 is incompatible with your project's license
- You want to provide Schubert as a hosted service without releasing your modifications
- You want a warranty, indemnification, or support SLA

## What a Commercial License Provides

- Use in proprietary/closed-source software
- No copyleft obligations — no requirement to release your source code
- No network-use clause restrictions
- Perpetual use rights for the licensed version
- Optional support and maintenance agreements
